Lino Cut Cards and Art Print

Learn new skills and make unique and beautiful cards and art print of the same design. You will produce an edition of 10 cards to take away on the day along with envelopes and an art print ready to take home and frame. You will also take away your carved lino block.

Although you will learn to print on the etching press, you will also be taught hand printing techniques so you can keep printing with it at home if you like to make more beautiful handmade cards for your friends and family.

Refreshments will be provided.

Ethical Tote Bag & Art Print

A great chance to make something beautiful, practical and ethical, in this workshop you will learn everything you need to know to design and screen print a fair trade, organic cotton tote bag & unique printed artwork. This workshop includes an inspiration session or a guided walk in the local woodlands (weather permitting) to get design ideas.

With a choice of dates in 2020 & very small class sizes, this makes for a unique day out. Refreshments & light lunch will be provided.

Learn to Lino

The perfect intro to print. This workshop includes an inspiration session or a guided walk (weather permitting) to get design ideas. Then you’ll learn how to effectively design for print, carve your own lino printing block as well as how to use the inks, tools & equipment you need to make lino prints. With tiny class sizes you will get lots of one on one time with Marcia to make sure you really master the techniques taught in the workshop.

Although we will be printing on an etching press, you will also learn hand printing techniques so you can use the printing block you make at home. Refreshments & light lunch provided.
